Registrations for the academic year 2024-25 are now OPEN for all grades upto Grade 11 (except Grade X)

For the Pre-Primary Admission (2024-25) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

• There will be student and parental interaction with the Head of Schoo
• The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
• Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

For Grade 1 onwards Admission (2024-25) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

• There will be a grade level readiness assessment for the child from Grade 1 onwards. Admissions will be based on student and parental interaction with Head of School
• The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
• Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and Grade level readiness results will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

Admission Procedure:

• Step 1: Submission of the completed registration/ application form online.
• Step 2: Intimation of date of Interaction/ Grade level readiness assessment from Grade 1 onwards, via email or direct calling
• Step 3: School Presentation followed by a school tour on the informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
• Step 4: Student and parental interaction on an informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
• Step 5: Confirmation of admission will be notified via email/telephone.
• Step 6: Student admission, submission of documents & payment of fees (to be done within 3 working days from the date of confirmation).

Age Criteria for admissions:

• 3 years completed as on 31st May for Nursery
  4 years completed as on 31st May for Kindergarten 1
  5 years completed as on 31st May for Kindergarten 2
  6 years completed as on 31st May for Grade 1

Documents required:

• Aadhaar Card copy of the child
• 04 passport sized colored photographs of the child
• 02 passport sized colored photographs of each parent
• Birth certificate
• Immunization Record
• Address Proof - Lease deed or Utilities Bills (Gas/Electricity/Landline)
• Photo copy of Mark sheet where applicable (Originals to be presented at the time of admissions)
• Transfer certificate where applicable
• Passport copy of foreign nationals
• Self-attested passport copies of parents & ward (foreign nationals)
• One permanent address of their native state (foreign nationals)
• Copy of FRRO

Admissions Criteria for Pre-Primary Classes:

While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
Kunskapsskolan Bengaluru follows a first-come, first-served admission process, subject to seat availability.

For Grades 1 to 9 & 11 Admissions, the following criteria will be followed:

• The final decision of admissions is subject to availability of seats.

Admission Procedure:

Step 1: Submission of the completed Registration form.

Step 2: Intimation by the School for:

• Curriculum Counselling Session by the Admission Manager
• School Tour
• Intimation of the schedule and time slot for the student to be a part of the Immersion programme (optional)
  To experience how the KED pedagogical approach personalizes the classroom engagements to build the skills in the child keeping the curriculum requirements on the core.
• Interaction with the Head of School
• For students seeking admission to Grade 1 to 9 & 11, a Grade Level Assessment will be conducted on the same date.

Step 3: The successful applicants will receive a communication from the Admissions Team via email from admissions.kkb@ked.edu.in once the admission process is duly completed.

Step 4: Admission formalities to be completed by submission of documents and payment of fees to be done within 3 working days from the receipt of confirmation of admission via email.

Age Criteria for Pre-Primary Admissions:

• 2 years completed as on 31st May of the respective year for Toddlers
• 3 years completed as on 31st May of the respective year for Nursery
• 4 years completed as on 31st May of the respective year for Kindergarten-1
• 5 years completed as on 31st May of the respective year for Kindergarten-2
• 6 years completed as on 31st May of the respective year for Grade 1

(Subject to change as per the State Government age criteria for the academic session 2027-28)

Documents required to take forward the admission process:

• Birth certificate copy
• Immunization record copy
• Address proof copy
• 4 passport size photos of child
• 2 passport size photos of each parent
• Aadhaar Card of the Student (Mandatory)
• Aadhaar Card of Mother and Father (Mandatory)
• If student was admitted to another school previously to submit latest report card (only for Students for Grade 2 and above)
• School Transfer certificate
• SATS Transfer Certificate from the previous school (for school within the state of Karnataka) (only for Students for Grade 2 and above)
• PEN Number (for students from within India)

Additional documents required for admissions of International Students:

• Self-attested passport copies of parents & child/children
• A copy of the permanent address of their native country
• Copy of FRRO
