Registrations for the academic year 2024-25 are now OPEN for all grades upto Grade 11 (except Grade X)

For the Pre-Primary Admission (2024-25) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

• There will be student and parental interaction with the Head of Schoo
• The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
• Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

For Grade 1 onwards Admission (2024-25) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

• There will be a grade level readiness assessment for the child from Grade 1 onwards. Admissions will be based on student and parental interaction with Head of School
• The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
• Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and Grade level readiness results will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

Admission Procedure:

• Step 1: Submission of the completed registration/ application form online.
• Step 2: Intimation of date of Interaction/ Grade level readiness assessment from Grade 1 onwards, via email or direct calling
• Step 3: School Presentation followed by a school tour on the informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
• Step 4: Student and parental interaction on an informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
• Step 5: Confirmation of admission will be notified via email/telephone.
• Step 6: Student admission, submission of documents & payment of fees (to be done within 3 working days from the date of confirmation).

Age Criteria for admissions:

• 3 years completed as on 31st May for Nursery
  4 years completed as on 31st May for Kindergarten 1
  5 years completed as on 31st May for Kindergarten 2
  6 years completed as on 31st May for Grade 1

Eligibility:

All Nationalities

Documents required:

• Aadhaar Card copy of the child
• 04 passport sized colored photographs of the child
• 02 passport sized colored photographs of each parent
• Birth certificate
• Immunization Record
• Address Proof - Lease deed or Utilities Bills (Gas/Electricity/Landline)
• Photo copy of Mark sheet where applicable (Originals to be presented at the time of admissions)
• Transfer certificate where applicable
• Passport copy of foreign nationals
• Self-attested passport copies of parents & ward (foreign nationals)
• One permanent address of their native state (foreign nationals)
• Copy of FRRO

Admission policy (2025-26)

• Kunskapsskolan will not base admission on religion, race, cast, creed or place of birth but on complete first come first basis.
• Kunskapsskolan shall be governed by the Education Act/rules applicable to the State where the school is situated.
• For the purpose of admission and extent of schools responsibility for Free and Compulsory Education the school shall be governed by the provisions of the Right to Children to free and compulsory Education Act, 2009 and the amendments, made there from time to time.
• The school shall maintain all relevant records of the students applied and admitted annually as per guidelines issued by the state.

Admission process

• Parents will fill in the registration form
• Parents will come in for an interaction with the teacher or a skill test ( as applicable based on the grade in which admission is sought) with the child to school premises.
• Parents will have a formal interaction with the HOS and then go ahead with admission based on seat availability.
• If seat is available parent will do the following:
  a) Fill in the admission form
  b) Submit the following documents
  - Birth certificate copy
  - Immunization record copy
  - Address proof copy
  - 4 passport size photos of child
  - 2 passport size photos of each parent
  - Aadhaar card of child
  - If was admitted to another school previously to submit latest report card (only for Students for Grade 2 and above)
  - School Transfer certificate
  - SATS Transfer Certificate from the previous school (for school within the state of Karnataka) (only for Students for Grade 2 and above)
• Payment of Admission fee, security fee, KED Enrolment fee.

If there is a waiting list in a particular class, the child will then be registered in the waiting list. As and when a seat will be available, the school shall call the first person on the waiting list and offer the seat.

Refund of Fee on Withdrawal of Admission

Procedure:

• Fees deposited at the time of admission and if subsequent withdrawal is initiated, parents shall be required to make an application in the prescribed form to the Head of School.
• In case the fee is paid and admission is withdrawn before 30th April 2025 for the academic session 2025-26, the student shall be refunded the entire amount received after deducting Rs. 40,000/- towards administrative charges.
• In case the fee is paid and admission is withdrawn after 30th April 2025 and before June 1, 2025, the admission fees will be forfeited and balance fee which includes Security Deposit, will be refunded.
• In case the withdrawal is initiated after the commencement of any academic session or during midterm, One month notice period is to be given. The necessary refund according to the instalment fee paid will be initiated only in case of one moth notice period is given.
• The refund shall be made within 2 months from the date of receiving the withdrawal application and submission of all relevant documents.
• The school shall send the refund cheques after proper verification and checking for onward delivery to the applicant.
